Umunna Odinakachi

Engr. Kachi (MNSE, AMNIM) is a First Class Engineering Graduate with 8+ years of experience in the energy industry (oil, gas and power), media and public sector in frontline asset management, business improvement and stakeholder management roles. He currently works with Shell where he leverages critical thinking and digitalization to develop and deploy strategies to deliver top-quartile availability. He is passionate about access to energy, business development and leadership (and was a Shell delegate to the largest youth leaders’ summit in 2018). He is also an emerging thought leader on the energy transition who has helped shape local and global energy strategies. Currently he leads the Nigeria chapter of the Future Energy Lions network (a volunteer grassroots energy transition network at Shell with almost 4,000 members worldwide). He is married (to a medical doctor), and enjoys writing, swimming and coaching others.
